Note to self: Phusion Passenger and PassengerMaxPoolSize

(I promised myself to not post about web programming stuff here, but hey, I lost about A DAY AND A HALF on this stupid thing)

PassengerMaxPoolSize and PassengerPoolIdleTime have NO EFFECT when inside of a VirtualHost

And guess what, everything is CLEARLY indicated in /tmp/passenger_status*

Damn. I want my 36 hours back.

Well, I'm not sure you can get these 36 hours back but maybe your employer can sue the software company for this thing and get your 36 hours pay refunded by the software company. Or you can sue scientists for not being able to create a time machine that would enable you to get these 36 hours back and work on something else during these 36 hours. Maybe things are better like that after all.

Suing my employer ? You want me to sue myself ?
Suing the the software company ? Well, the guys at modrails.com helped me save hundred of hours with their software... I would probably loose.
Suing the scientists ? Good idea! Hold on, let me contact my lawyer...
